Solari President Rich Maggiani presented “Cloud Computing Is Changing How We Communicate” (slides) at a meeting of the Vermont chapter of the Society for Technical Communication (STC). While cloud computing is mainly an IT function, its implementation directly affects technical communicators and how they perform their important jobs.

This session explained cloud computing and presented some of the applications that can be used for professional communication, some of which you might already be unintentionally using. There was time allocated to discuss the implications that cloud computing might have on your everyday work.
