Rich Maggiani presented an “outstanding” session entitled “Cloud Computing Is Changing How We Communicate” (slides) at the International Professional Communicator Conference (IPCC). The session explained the intricacies of cloud computing, presented various communication tools that are currently available in the cloud, and ended with a lively discussion about the merits of cloud computing.

Maggiani followed his presentation with a bit of business, and a long tour of O‘ahu and the isle of Hawai‘i with his son. Together, they took some wild hikes, hit the surf at many beaches, hiked to the summit of Mauna Kea, Hawai‘i’s high point, and watched new lava flow crash into the Pacific.
