Andrew Mack, mathematics teacher at Burlington High School, invited Solari President Rich Maggiani to speak to his outgoing class of seniors. Maggiani spoke on two main topics.

First and foremost, he presented some of the basic concepts of Solari’s “How Time Off Can Boost Your Career” class (slides), focusing on the principles of achieving greatness and on living in the moment. The presentation contained dozens of photographs from Maggiani’s his life and professional sabbatical. Maggiani focused on some of the many lessons he learned during his sabbatical, lessons that graduating seniors might find valuable in their impending transition out of high school.

And since this was a math class, Maggiani taught the basic concepts behind and contrasted the differences in the cash and accrual accounting systems.
